Hi, I’m Ellesyn Gottschalk!
I’m a marketing creative with a passion for digital storytelling, specifically through social media graphics, marketing materials, and visual branding.
Over the last year, I’ve grown my own creative brand to more than 25K followers across Instagram and TikTok. Through both personal and professional work, I’ve learned how to tell stories in a way that feels engaging and intentional.
In my spare time, I love to read and write, binge TV shows, and go on runs with my husband and our golden retriever. I’ve also become a huge creative nerd and am constantly researching new techniques, collecting inspiration, and scrolling Pinterest probably more than I should.
Book Launch Materials
This section includes marketing graphics created for the potential launch of a new Young Adult urban fantasy series. The campaign uses textures and muted color palettes to appeal to a younger, trendier audience while still giving the series a slightly more mature feel for new adult readers. Included in the campaign are two portrait social media posts, one horizontal marketing graphic, and one story post.
Integrated Marketing Campaign
I love being the creative mind behind a marketing campaign from start to finish. For this section, I created a proposed local summer reading program and developed a variety of marketing materials to bring the campaign to life. Included are social media graphics and a story post, two banner variations, and a print flyer.
Video Creation and Editing
I create videos nearly every day, both for clients and for my personal art brand. Included are three recent videos that I filmed and edited myself for social media. Through creating consistent video content, I have learned firsthand how to tell a compelling story, capture attention quickly, and keep an audience engaged and coming back for more.
Brand Identity
Brand identity is crucial to any successful business or creative brand. For this section, I created a visual identity for a local flower stand with a soft, feminine feel and showed how the logo can be used across different applications. I also created a custom repeating pattern that could be used for future print materials and branded pieces.
Print and Layout Design
Print materials will never become obsolete. People still value human and visual connection, especially when they have something physical to take home with them. This section includes two recent client projects: a brochure for a lake rental and a business mailer. Both pieces reflect their individual brand identities while balancing clear information with strong visual design.
